Ability to setup EJB pool size in ejb Deployement Descritptor, and monitor these pool

Created: 15/Jan/08 03:37 PM   Updated: 09/Mar/08 10:05 AM
Component/s: Core
Affects Version/s: EasyBeans 1.0 RC2
Fix Version/s: EasyBeans 1.0 RC3

 Description  « Hide
I am looking for the ability to setup (tune up) EJB pool size in easybeans like I am used to do in JOnAS with EJB 2.0.

This feature should be on MDB and Ejb Session like JOnAS do with the same options.

http://jonas.objectweb.org/current/doc/doc-en/integrated/PG_MsgDrvBean.html#PG_MsgDrvBean-Tuning
http://jonas.objectweb.org/current/doc/doc-en/integrated/PG_Session.html#PG_Session-Tuning

Be careful :
max-cache-size definition is different from MDB and Session

It could be useful to provide some MBeans to monitor these pools

Thx a lot

Brice

Don't forget to schedule it for the RC3 ;-)

Thx

I haven't forget :)
But the RC3 version won't be cut today. This is only a version to be embedded in JOnAS 5.0.1 that will be tagged now. (A version between RC2 and RC3 :)

There is a new example showing how to fix the pool size with annotation or by using DD

Great thx
will it be available in SNAPHOT release ?

Thx very much, for providing a max limit to MDB and EJBSession pool in EasyBeans RC3

Which was my primary request. I will use it immediately.

I will wait an other release to monitor with Mbeans, never mind ;-) I don't really needs it.

Thx again for your reactivity and reliability.

Brice
